Arranger/Orchestrator Tommy Laurence has been working in London since graduating from the Royal Academy Of Music Jazz course as a saxophonist in 2008. Since then he has completed several projects for the BBC Big Band, featuring a wide variety of artists, as well as projects for the SWR Big Band in Stuttgart. He has written arrangements and orchestrations performed and recorded in London, Europe and the U.S. More recently Tommy has been working as an orchestrator on various Hollywood feature projects. In January 2014, Tommy had the honour of being engaged to transcribe and adapt the classic album 'Jarreau', for Al Jarreau's shows at Ronnie Scott's featuring an all-star 12 piece band, to celebrate the album's 30th anniversary.

Around the same time, he recorded his own album project of standards featuring a 55 piece orchestra, big band and vocalists. The album, 'In Love Again', attempts to capture the spirit of some of Tommy's arranging heroes. Please visit the Music section to listen to excerpts from the record.
